Warranty Terms & Conditions

The Ultraguard warranty is issued at the time of installation by an authorised dealer and is valid only when the product is installed and maintained in accordance with the terms below.

Ultraguard only gives warranty to those who have installed PPF or window film by an authorised dealer, and it will manage all the warranty credits. The warranty period of the film may vary from product to product, and it can range from 5 years to 10 years depending upon the film that has been installed. Warranty coverage includes yellowing, cracking, decoloration, and adhesive failure.

  • Window film coverage additionally includes bubbling, peeling, and color fading beyond expected tolerance.
  • Coverage begins from the date of installation, as recorded in the Dealer Panel.
  • The exact warranty period for your specific product is stated on your digital warranty certificate.

The warranty is valid only once the installation is registered digitally either by the authorised dealer through the Ultraguard Dealer Panel, or by the customer through the self-registration portal after the installation. Products installed but not registered in the system within this period are not eligible for warranty claims.

  • Registration must include an accurate vehicle registration number, customer contact details, and installation date.
  • The customer will receive digital warranty confirmation via Email and WhatsApp upon successful registration.

This warranty covers the manufacturing quality of the paint protection film or window film only. To remain eligible for registration and claims, the product must be installed by an Ultraguard-authorised and certified applicator. Installation by an unauthorised or uncertified installer may affect the accuracy of the digital warranty record and will not be covered for any resulting installation-related issues, which remain the responsibility of the installer.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Accidents, collisions, or physical impact of any kind.
  • Improper washing and use of harsh chemicals.
  • Environmental factors, chemical spills, fire, or any other factor
  • Vehicles that are used for racing, rental, or for any other purpose, unless it was written in the agreement.
  • Damage or decoloration made due to the skipped maintenance washes and improper care.

To file a claim, the customer must submit a request through the Ultraguard warranty portal or Dealer Panel, providing the registered Warranty ID, a photograph of the vehicle's chassis/VIN plate, and photographs of the affected area. The warranty must be active, and maintenance obligations under this policy must be up to date, for the claim to be eligible.

  • Approved claims are resolved through repair or replacement at an authorised Ultraguard facility, at Ultraguard's discretion.
  • Claim approval will be communicated via SMS and WhatsApp; the customer must then visit the dealer who performed the original installation to have the claim resolved.

If you sell your vehicle, this warranty can be passed on to the new owner. You just need to show valid proof that the vehicle's ownership has changed, and Ultraguard needs to approve the transfer.

If something covered under this warranty goes wrong with the film, Ultraguard's responsibility is limited to repairing or replacing that film. Ultraguard is not responsible for anything beyond that; for example, if the issue causes other damage, if you can't use your vehicle for a while, or if it leads to costs from a third party.

Here’s everything you need to know about your Ultraguard warranty: no fine print, no confusion, just straight answers.

It depends on which product you've had installed; warranty periods range from 12 months (Windshield PPF) up to 10 years for most PPF and window film series. The exact duration of the warranty is mentioned on your digital warranty certificate.
It may work from both sides. Your authorised dealer can register it for you during installation, or you can register it yourself through self-registration on the page.
It covers yellowing, cracking of the film, discolouration, and adhesive failure. For window film, it covers bubbles, peeling, and colour fading.
No. It does not cover installation mistakes. If something goes wrong because of how the film was applied, that's the total responsibility of the installer or the dealership that did the installation.
Yes. A maintenance wash is recommended every 60 to 90 days, which helps maintain the film's appearance. Each wash costs ₹1,000 plus GST. Skipping maintenance and not taking proper care can cause damage to the vehicle's surface.
Accidents, collisions, physical impact, harsh chemical washes or brush car washes, and damage from missing the maintenance wash can cause harm and are not covered under the warranty.
For a claim, you first submit a request through the warranty portal or the dealer panel with your warranty ID, a photo of your vehicle, the VIN plate, and photos of the affected area; your claim will then be activated.
All claims are reviewed within 5 to 7 business days. Once approved, you'll be notified by SMS and WhatsApp and need to visit the dealer who installed the film to get it resolved.
Yes, since the warranty stays with the vehicle, it can be passed on to the new owner. All you need is valid proof of the ownership change and approval.
Your warranty may not be properly registered or trackable in that case, and any issues caused by that installation won't be covered; that responsibility stays with the installer, not Ultraguard.
